About the Author
Alexander Pelaez
Mr. Pelaez possesses a unique and diverse set of expertise blending strategy, management and technology. He has a successful track record of leading groups through complex issues, developing strategies for organizations, and counseling managers and executives at all levels on strategy and leadership development.
His research interests focus primarily on strategic concepts, strategy development, leadership and organizational behavior. He lectures, both academically and professionally, on strategic thinking, management organization, and leading edge technologies.
He has over 20 years Information Technology experience holding senior level technology positions with companies in the financial, retail, media/entertainment, and health care industries. In addition, for the past 10 years, he has been an Adjunct Professor of Information Technology at the Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University.
Mr. Pelaez holds a B.A. Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from New York University, an M.S. Degree in Computer Science from New York University, and an M.B.A. in Marketing from the Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University.
